I understand the sentiment, although I look at the government and the opposition as two sides of the same coin. With a weak opposition, the government can run rampant, and with a weak government, the opposition essentially drives the agenda.
At the moment I would rather be here or New Zealand than anywhere else in the world, so perhaps despite all the noise, the system is doing something right. By all means, the country should improve wherever it can and not get complacent.
