Majority of the land owners in the county have sold or agreed to selling their land and houses to PLL. Yes, populism rhetoric is negative in the neighbourhood but in the end when its moolah - capitalism win. County commissioners can delay approvals but will have have to approve the project in the end. 500 high paying jobs for the locals (average salary is US 30k). A capitalist company with a cash balance of $150 million and looking to invest $1B - do you reckon they will loose this battle?
Stick with the company and many will have beach house residents in Byron Bay soon.
