From late May to early September it's usually cold, damp Winter woggle weather - Covid, flues and colds love us at this time of year.

I've just read an article on the unprecedented 'heat domes' frying the Northern Hemisphere's more northern countries this year - we sure hope that's not coming to us this soon after the 2019-20 bushfire season. Adding that to Covid would tip a lot of people over the edge of despair.

Oddly our summer temps have stayed around what they always were.
NE Qld seems to dodge most of the heat waves just as we dodge the big freezes.
