No I just googled it, is called "You can be a Stock Market Genius". Ha I knew it had a tacky title, is actually a reasonably advanced investing book though. I've found a combination of both has been very useful to increase returns, i.e. both knowledge gained from reading as well as experience in the market. The biggest impediment to my returns has been mastering the mental side of investing, something I've improved dramatically at but still wouldn't say I've fully mastered, as I still from time to time find myself making decisions that in hindsight were influenced either by emotion or another outside influence, although this happens less frequently as time goes on. The book I mentioned, the section on spinoffs/demergers is primarily a form of value investing, where the spunoff company will sometimes get indiscriminately sold off depending on its profile vs the typical profile of the investor in the "parent", thus sometimes creating very good value scenarios.
