Chaps,
Burnside-ST1, in block WA-281P in the Browse basin, has reached its TD of 4182m & logging is in progress to
evaluate the section. This is about 50kms southwest of the giant Ichthys field operated by Inpex/Total & IMO the purpose behind drilling this is to see if same reservoir is hydrocarbon bearing at BST1. The JV were running the tool for the sidewall cores. No mention of any gas since last week, perhaps they want to keep things very tight!!
Will have to wait for nxt weeks update.
