You obviously don't follow politics. At best, they will be a minority government. The Coalition is going for a fourth term. They currently hold 76 seats in a 151 seat parliament. They will lose seats in WA (2-3 seats), Vic (1-2 seats) and 1 seat in SA. We have not even included Qld where the Coalition hold 23 of 30 seats (plus Katter). The Opposition is unlikely to lose any seats, it may however the current dynamics suggest unlikely. Sometimes a government should have lost an election but they win it unexpectedly (2019) but lose the next. This is what is in likelihood going to happen.

The government has a lot of baggage (sports rorts, car park rorts, scandals etc) and the last thing they want to add environmental issues to it. The closer we are to the election the less likely it will get approved. I might be wrong but I've followed politics for 30+ years and the signs are clear.

Yes, I was a holder until recently, took my initial investment and the profits and have moved on.
