I ended up selling out yesterday. Having been told in the webcast that we would be seeing advertising etc. I have seen nothing. This is a chicken and egg situation IMO. They need a database of candidates for trials to provide a decent enough incentive for drug companies etc to come to the table and they need enough of a variety and volume of trials listed to get enough interest to build a decent database. All in all a great idea but have lost a bit of faith in managements ability to pull it off (as a technology based company not to be able to conduct a webcast without technical issues does not fill me with confidence).
I personally believe they need a large cash injection to get a serous marketing campaign up and running at least here in Australia (or forget Australia and head straight for the US, although this would take significantly more funds to make an impact), MC dwindling, therefore massive dilution, or just not enough size to be able to raise the capital required to get over the roadblocks of getting this up and running.
I will keep an eye on the company but have a horrible feeling it is another ASX minnow using the market to ensure management keep getting paid.
