I think it is important we know what is deeper.

Pogo is an underground mine that has a grade of about 8g per tonne.

I have been trying to find some information on how deep the Pogo mine is, and I haven't been able to find anything definitive yet, but I have found the following:

Goodpaster is within the wider Pogo prospect, and it appears to go to depths of over 750m

Overall, the Liese vein system dips shallowly northwest and is a stacked system of three laminated veins (L1, L2, and L3). SRK and Sumitomo recognised that the lateral extent ofthe Liese vein system is large, with the L1 vein currently known to have a down-dip extent of greater than 1700 metres."

So these holes are about 941 feet each = 286m

So I am thinking that the Pogo mine goes to depths of about 300m - 700m below the surface.
