The Copper was using his horse as an instrument of force................ I couldn't say if he punched or just stretched out his hand to protect himself as I can't see what happened.
I've also boxed so it would be interesting to see if he is left or right handed........... his instinct to punch would be dictated by his first preference.
I have over 30 years of working experience with horses and livestock ........ a horse's neck and head, if it hits you, has a lot of thump.
I was being careless one day and a horse reared up and struck me on the right hand. Boy did that hurt. I wouldn't be posting here today if he had hit my head.
