that’s what Bitcoin is for. U don’t need to dig the earth up for that service either. I sort of think gold is redundant now crypto exists. Gold the new coal. There’s not really any purpose to owning gold anymore. The only way gold would have a purpose is if the human race undid the past 300 years of advancement. That isn’t going to happen, and we are only moving forward. The path forward is sustainability, earth friendly, disruptive and efficient. Gold doesn’t fit into any of those categories. Gold will only hold value because people continue to buy it, without any understanding why they are actually buying it.
