What also happens when they take the first home owners grant out of the market. I've been waiting to see, but they keep extending the darn thing - one thing my wife and I have noticed is that since we sold our house in December 2008, there were 5 pages for our suburb on realestate.com.au with listings - now it is triple that amount so there is an increase in supply entering the market so can't see how we can have a continual rise in house prices.
