Holes 315 and 316 are not parallel to the section line. This will result in a slight steepening of the holes when drawn on section...
Say a hole has a horizontal trace of 50m and its vertical length is 87m long - these give it a dip of 60 degrees. If the hole is drilled 15 degrees off parallel to a section then when plotted on that section the hole will have a horizontal trace of 50 x cos(15) = 48.3m. So the apparent dip on section will be arctan(87/48.3) = 61 degrees, a negligible steepening and certainly not 78 degrees.
Hole 318 is deeper.
I wouldn't use their diagram.
True widths were measured from the section I have plotted which I believe to be more realistic.
As for the structural complexity, I would apply Occam's razor.
