where were you on 26th aug 2009., page-26

well i have looked into my calendar and on the afternoon of the 26th August and l will be cycling with my pack of cycling buddies around the swan river and as usual trying desperately to hang on.

i personally do not think we will need to worry about the first hole being drilled, l just had this thought today that the last of the 90 days is being occupied with negotiations for FAR.

We waited patiently and had no idea what arrangements ME was up to with Shell with the JV and this took some time from memory, whats to say the same thing is not happening again.

I am curious to know how this exercise works. Say we were given $550m for Senegal say $1 and accepted by ME etc, does this reflect in the SP.....would the SP fly to $1 or maybe 50c and an abundance of cash in the kitty. Shell only wants Senegal not the other interests, so are we still trading at eg.50c with lots of cash and the other interests....ideally we want the whole company sold and shares exchanged for $$.

Just asking as not sure how the scenario would work out (if it were to happen of course?)
