my understanding is that the government is not buying Digicel. They are trying to entice Telstra to buy it. Hopefully they offer them incentives too good to refuse. I’m confident that the Board, having been through the past few years, are well aware of regulatory risks and legacy assets and will put safeguards in place to reduce those risks.
