the shorters have seen through the weakness of this company which is lacking in making appropriate announcement, replying to those media rumours, speculation etc. Even it's just some small news, better than nothing and keeping quiet. This is the reason why it's the highest shorted stock. If the shorts continue to be so high, the SP is not going anywhere.
