You started this thread by referencing the NSW Police referring to these ralliers as Anarchists.

Seriously, Anarchists ? I saw no signs or calling for the take down of government. No burning of flags or pictures of members of parliament. The greater majority of the individuals are voters standing against a decision that their "elected" members have made and that has a dramatic affect on their (as they see it) rights. Protesting against one decision or direction of government is a hell of a long way from Anarchy. If it is then Australia is in a state of anarchy and has been for many years.

Seeing the Policeman you thread refers to laughing and sniggering as he made his comment, was not only embarrassing but disgraceful. But this seems to be the norm (new norm).

At no time in my many years of voting did I consider that the members of parliament I selected would be following directives from academics in the health care profession that would affect the basic freedoms to enjoy daily activities and the ability for members of my family to support themselves via natural means.

Does my choice not to be vaccinated or to rally in public "against the advice" affect my family, friends or the greater public ? No it doesn't provided you adhere to the advice and wear your mask, get vaccinated and remain imprisoned for as long as you believe you need to. My parents are in their 80s and vaccinated. I visit them multiple times weekly. Why wouldn't I ? They are vaccinated. I feel safe that they won't infect me. They are healthy individuals with the usual 80 year old problems. Both maintain a healthy diet and strong immune systems. They don't let it affect their lives too much. After all. Growing up without meat, dairy, flour and electricity, while collecting glass bottles as children, helping their parents come out of post war depression ? You know sometimes, just maybe Darwin was right ?
