PLA Diggers & Dealers presentation was only up for 20 mins when they released an updated version. Almost if the 1st presentation released to the market was the wrong one!
The main difference to me was in the updated presentation they stated production at Smokey Hills for July was 5,000oz 4E PGM. This is a huge improvement over the previous quarter which only managed to produce 6,706oz (average 2,235 oz/month). A great result showing they are finally starting to get some decent production improvement at Smokey Hills. 5,000oz/month is 60,000oz/year so they still have some way to go before hitting their 95,000oz/year capacity but at least they made good headway in July. They mantained their guidance of 85,000 oz in FY09/10 at Smokey Hills.
The London PLA price increase last night was was on small volume only about 1/3 of normal.
