The amount of hype in this thread about estimates of salt water consumption and what source of energy will be used is pretty phenomenal, as is the degree to how amazingly angry they are towards anyone who doesn't consider it to be earth-shattering news.
We were never planning to use a jillion gigalitres of potable water. It's really not that amazing, neither is it anything more than an estimate.
The source of electricity is just a proposal and the amount is an estimate. Yes, it looks good, but look at the hype in this thread, you'd swear the people were talking about the company finding a new 20,000TPA project or something, and even then it would be bizarre to see such bitterness and tantrums. It's not like our plans to build our own brown coal power station were just cancelled or our previous estimates were quartered. It's not even like we have definitive figures.
Oh, and by the way, the market didn't care and the price is down a little.
FTW, I'm a happy holder, I like the story, but I'm also realistic enough not to overhype repetitive announcements. If those two points were really significant, they'd be what the announcement was, rather than those details being a small part of an otherwise repetitive announcement.
