Meanwhile apart from the Andrews Victorian disaster, Australia was relatively free from Covid deaths.
Once our authorities approved AZ for use in Australia we started manufacturing the vaccine.
Remember Italy and the EU stopped our supplies of AZ from Europe because "we didn't need it".

Then the blood clot issue emerged.
People in Australia didn't want AZ.
