Well, that's how I remember the events, doesn't make it true. Also, both CTP and CLC probably had reasonable reasons for what they did, and CTP used the methods available to them to progress.
My issue is much more about the intervention and the methods used by the Howard Govt and continued by the Rudd government, where IMO they have used a sledgehammer where a tack hammer would have been more appropriate.
In the end we may see more bad blood from the CLC than if CTP had done things more the way they wanted, but I'm only reading notes that each side puts out, so really I don't know. I just like to think that both sides came to it with good intent.
