Since you are attending the meeting next Tuesday,is it possible for you to ask what are the chances of ORPHAN DRUG status being granted and if so, would this have to be done before the phase11B/111 trial protocol is finalised and begun at which point an announcement to the market indicating this watershed event will be made.
( I am assuming that the details of the phase 11b/111 trials due out in the near future will be affected by the granting of an ORPHAN DRUG status for the trials - ie a much shorter time frame and fewer patients etc ).
