Ghana is a better jurisdiction than South Africa ? Where , what and whom told you such nonsense ?
I often hear talks of take overs for companies on forums . But in truth take overs seldom happen ! Our S/p is nowhere near where we should be right now which should be circa .15c pre dfs. However those that have been for the ride would have noticed that our shares held out well during end of last financial year , in fact wwi held better than all other gold stocks i have on my watch lists.
Our resourses are not going to disappear and will only grow from here. As someone has mentioned we no longer a hopeful explorer we are about to be producers and not a tiny producer either. Not many gold stocks have the amount of resources we have and the grade we have . If you guys go and read past announcements you will find that management is not really keen on diluting much more . They intend on processing our ore at a nearby mill initially at least anyways . Than use the proceeds for further resource expansion and development .
Come on guys and girls please , seriously tell me if you can find me a better gold stock with our current as Sp price as low as it is when we are on the verge of the dfs followed imminently by commencement of production. Am sure some of you have taken a bit of a hiding in your portfolios of late ,With other stocks . I do hope that West wits will put some smiles on your faces soon.
Lets start thinking as producers with west wits as we are no longer prospectors !
This is being sold down/shaken partly due to some fear in the broader market , high U.S $ , gold Spot price is being battered and is under extreme pressure , Hedge funds have pulled serious money out . The spot have gold has been shorted to be as low as $1715 for august. and the market is waiting with great anticipation till end of August for the Us fed speech . This is just a cycle . Thats alL !
Perhaps some retail sentiment has waned , we the retail plebs are known for being a tad skitish , which of course allows for the big boys to get richer at our expense.
