It makes sense why MAY is raising capital but they are not doing any favours to their shareholders by selling MEL cheap. Trying to sell 20% of MEL holding on market is not smart at this low price if they are after cash. The share price of MAY is comparatively high and probably good time for them to raise cap anyway to reduce their risks if they can't find any commercial oil.

The new substantial holder seems like a good home for MEL shares. They are after cheap small companies for long term hold IMO
