I don't disagree, Supernologic, nor would anyone, on the basis that this is a speculative stock like most companiess on the ASX at this end of the MCap. Being a holder, such as yourself, I also see the need to exercise caution and take into account all possible downsides but to keep an open to the possibilities and potential here. The market is generally forward looking. "Time will tell" and that is what investing in speculative stocks is all about... investing in the future.
Going by the Investor Presentation, OmniCar has already been put through some testing rigors already with testing on mice....
As for PTX100 being, as you put it, "a cast-off from another company that didn't see immediate potential in it"... maybe that company lacked the calibre and foresight of PTX to persist with the drug beyond a solitary cancer type. Who knows for what reason that company really passed up the opportunity to pursue further research. Do you?
Many biotech companies go by the wayside... and I'd say it's because of lack of expertise and financial backing perhaps. The fact is that PTX100 has proven to be safe and worked for those patients that had advanced TCL and been heavily treated previously with standard care little to no benefit.
