re: in the buy zone, ridgy Morn all , I did a bit or reading on ion last night .
Interesting little company .

I'm a great fan of the motor industry as it was my bread and butter for many years .

But do manufacturers ever earn any good bucks out of such a hard pressed game ?

Looks like ion has some great assets and am a fan of the Ford things which is a turnaround story .

Concern looking ahead is how long can u new car sales continue at the present rate ?

If realestate is coming off yet car sales continue to surge then we should consider that the top will come eventually .
If oil doesn't come off then big engined cars should eventually get wacked . Ion supplies autos to big engined cars .
What's interesting is the supply the new aluminium engines for GM .
That could be a boom and Ford has certainly turned the corner with stylish cars .

I reckon it's time to just trade the patterns but be aware of the bigger pic [down trend] .

Jeepers Ridge u must of bought a stack to worry about dumping them .
Surely a looser stop want inflict less damage in the medium term .
