I didn't say their reserves were depleting, I said that Russia's major money earner is becoming OBSOLETE. When does Europe stop producing ICE cars? How much of Europe's energy is produced from non-fossil fuels? Even China is heading away from ICE motor transport.
So Russia's major funds earner will start to depreciate as demand starts dropping and the price starts dropping with it. Won't happen overnight, but it will happen.
Oh and as soon as the Western nations are no longer dependant on Middle eastern Oil, watch out any middle eastern country that threatens the US or Israel, no invasion, just the crap kicked out of them.
