thanks Syelaw - my experience for actual mining is pretty thin. O&G was my main interest in years gone by
I know about the trials and tribulations of exploration, logistics and shipping - whilst it is still early days for ET, the NDI campaign has taken 3-4 years off any development schedule. actual mining will be @ least 4 years away - once a resource is established.
ET is a long way from a container export port - Darwin or Townsville or Adelaide. Darwin and Townsville are very expensive ports to ship from - Adelaide is the cheapest of the 3. What degree of processing happens in ET will depend on the resource and how many years mine life.
If there is a lot of gold in the ore, then that does complicate it - yes a nice complication to have. When I was working for a very large container company, I saw many different copper/gold exports in concentrate form - going overseas for refining.
one has to be conscious that the extra time to truck to Mt Isa where it could be refined is only 2 hours longer than trucking to Tennent Creek - where it could be railed to Adelaide or Darwin - if a lot of gold then in bulk railway wagons would be risky - it would have to be bulka bagged and that is expensive.
need to also benchmark what copper miners do in Tennent Creek for their exports
as to value - basis the Alpha cash cow pays for the mine development, then minimal debt for a 100% mine in ET [and there could be multiple mines] then my own view is GRV to double by Dec 21 to $1, double again in 2022 to $2, double again to $4 in 2023 and so on
