Well the short high level answer is that the Sponsor (that’s us) puts in an application for Fast Track if they think they meet the criteria and have a case. The FDA reviews it and oftentimes it is designated around the time of IND being granted but it can vary from case to case.
Donna, CMO is on record for stating we will be applying for Fast Track.
We certainly have a chance of this after the current situation gets resolved- fingers crossed!
