The power balance is in majorly in PLS' favor - I think there is less negotiating involved than you think. The formulas are based off chemical pricing as posted above and the spot prices are dictated on a spot basis and as per my initial post, I believe the most comprehensive price guide is the BMX platform.

It is genuinely in the off-take partners best interest to renegotiate the price should they want to prolong their contractual tonnes past expiry date. If they are making a higher margin based on chemical pricing then they can happily pay to secure tonnage while passing the cost on to their customer.

You are quoting Rodney Hooper's analysis on past results to work work out "at this exact point in time" the projected price - this is incorrect mate, the price is, as you go on to say, yet to be seen (on a contractual basis). On a spot basis however, which is soon to be material to yearly earnings, well, the price could not be better.

Regardless, as to my previous point, nobody is betting on prices staying the way they are "at this exact point in time" or to your previous post, for the next two quarters. If the price has run as hard as it has due to a structural shortage as we both agree exists, then there is no basis for this to change in at least the next 12-18 months (in my opinion).

Costs will only trend lower with time.

I see your point and respect a differing opinion but I think that the goal posts have shifted already and we are kicking straight through them.
