Yes you are missing something! In your example the new 1000 shares issued at 1c would bring an additional $10 into the company doubing the market cap to $20. The sp would rise to 2c to reflect the doubling of the mc.
The reason it's not a dilution with IMU is because the are paying $90m into the company. Yes, our sp has not increased (yet) due to this additional capital but that's the market. If the BOD issued another 5 billion shares at 30c this would not dilute existing sh. We'd have 10b SOI but the MC in theory would double due to the additional $1.5b in cash paid to the company.
