There won't be whole a lot to learn really.
They know their ore well and its processing; in particular the sludge's mechanical properties that caused so many initial problems.
They just need to get to know a new kiln; that shouldn't hold things up for long given that initially it can be run well short of max design capacity.
Of course they'll optimise acid, water and heat usage but that should be pretty quick given the LAMP experience.
