    This is blatantly wrong.

    You buy 2 shares at 30c (60c) and are awarded 1 bonus option (ex 45c).

    If you convert that option your cost basis is now $1.05 yes, but not for 3 shares it's for 102 shares.

    1 option = 100 shares.

    It's mind boggling how many people don't understand the basics of options.
