If a takeover is your concern, then why wouldn't you buy more to maximise the short term returns if the scenario eventuated?
there also needs to be some faith in shareholders. They wouldn't vote in favour of a takeover unless the offer was decent considering the large upside of this stock.
my rough maths on this stock with a cost of $30/t, a price of $60/t, profit/t is $30, volume 6m tonnes, volume of shares 550m, 30% capitalisation , dividend/share 24c thats a share price of $3 based on an 8% dividend rate the kicker... profit is more likely $70/t with Muchea. This gets a share price $7 and if volume is increased to 12m(possible) then its $14/share.
why would anyone completely sell there holding for peanuts considering the relatively low risk(especially th top 20 SH) and massive upside?
