rubyred i can remember a time really not all that long ago that blokes hovering the creeks around there were commonplace...... I'm gonna say certainly in the 80s and possibly 90s....... we all went camping there with kids back in late 80s and saw several 'operations'......... happy to let others do that work just quietly....... i think the real alluvial rushes died out in the late 1860s!!!!!!
