APT share price stabilising from here actually means going up even higher. The offer is 0.375 shares of SQ, not a fixed $126 price on the day of the announcement. SQ then rallied higher on the news, valuing the deal even higher. At last night's closing, Afterpay should be priced at almost $137 today but instead it's $128.
So when that gap is closed, then people can flood into other BNPL companies. Until then, there's still more money to be made in Afterpay.... and it's guaranteed (as long as SQ doesn't tank).
All these other BNPL companies rallying in the last 3 days are riding the coattails of Afterpay which is just speculation. Once the buzz wears off, we could see small pullback. It was happening last night until the Affirm/Apple news made the US BNPL stocks rally. That's the only thing that saved the day today. Just be prepared.
