Excellent post, thank you, it gives me much better understanding of DMF model. I am relatively new to the retirement sector.

A question: why is everybody hung up on SGP buying FKP retirement assets? There are other options:

1) They could have a go at PTN (Prime Retirement) which is the third largest operator, at an absolute bargain level. A price rise in PTN would suggest that something may be cooking or there is some anticipation.
2) They could increase their stake in AVE from 14% to 20%. Same comment - there is probably some speculation on that

Either way, all retirement related stocks, including LLP, FKP, PTN and to a lesser degree AVE should have a pretty healthy time until SGP announces it retirement assets policy in September.

Even ILF is running like crazy today although SGP said they are only interested in Australian assets
Any thoughts?
