Seeing as you took a misguided jab at me earlier, i'll return a pointy one right back at you.
Seems you don't understand how markets work, at all. Supply:demand is true over long time frames - think months/years, but on shorter time frames there is rarely such a thing during calm trading hours.... especially on penny stocks like this. These markets are run by bots, i'll bet you over 95% of the volume on the ASX is done by algorithmic bots - either fighting other bots or working in tandem with others. Some are so sophisticated their algos are designed by psychologists on how best to screw retail by playing their emotions. Have a look at any instos substantial holding notice which lists their buys/sells. You'll see they never just buy or sell 100% .... if accumulating they will buy (for eg.) 10% desired weighting, then sell 5% quickly to drop the price. Buy another 15%, sell 10%. Rinse repeat etc, the bot decides how much to buy or sell depending on depth for maximum effect. Sometimes they just sell from left to right hand to spoof volume and entice traders in to dump on.
Even more sinister, they can open a leveraged short/long position with derivatives - if for example they go short, dump their shares quickly for max effect, hit stops, scare retail.... close the short. open a long and slowly re-accumulate what they sold at even lower prices, then finally spike the SP and close the long position. It's entirely possible for them to make money by selling physical shares at a loss while keeping a leveraged derivative open - and vice versa.
Open your eyes, these markets are not driven by genuine buys/sells by human hands all day every day... LOL I feel like that adult who ruined Christmas telling the kid that Santa isn't real.
