- Manono deposit is world class, but we already knew that 3-4 years ago didn't we, have we progressed obtaining value out of that potential as of yet ? When are we likely to do so ?
- The world is going crazy for what Benchmark are now calling "the great material disconnect"
- The requirement for sustainable mining and thresholds on Scope 1, 2 & 3 emissions is largely dependent on your end customers and the jurisdiction / legislation on where they reside IMO. Whilst Europe will have fairly stringent requirements, if you are not supplying the European market, you can afford to "Hide" the vast majority of your footprint in Scope 3. Take Australia for example, the Clean Energy Regulator requires most companies to report Scope 1 & 2, however you can structure your business in a certain way to hide Scope 3, a high CO2 emitting business can avoid any potential future implications given Australian regulation. If the rumours are true, the same will not be said for the EU for 1 example.
