When I went to bed last night I was a bit anxious. I knew I had a big day on today (just put in a twelve hour day and had a chance to look at a screen twice during the day). I've got a big project on this week and had to put in an all nighter on Sunday night just to clear something else out of they way. In short, I am wrecked at the moment. So I was anxious because all the twitter/reddit talk was of smoking shorters today #sendit (which I had to look up) and #gamestop and whatever. I'm in a fintech that went through the social media freakshow circus a few months back where the freaking tweaters and stonk traders held a massive pump and dump party. I don't have time for that sh!t. I had to cancel my day because I knew I had to sell at the opening on the second day of the vertical stock appreciation. I'm happy I made good money from that and was able to buy back a heck of a lot more of the stock when I bought back in, but that is not what I am on the stock market to do. I just want to buy stocks with great potential and throw money into SPP and trade a bit on the edges to try and build my position and lower my average net cost.

In short, there are pluses and minuses to everything and as a little guy I have to take what I am dealt and decide based on that. There may be some blessing in seeing orderly trading resume, even if this means the villains get to make their runaway.
