well I think if you block foreign anonymous posters peddling a view that isn't mainstream then you need to think about blocking anyone who is posting from overseas (or maybe they have to provide evidence of citizenship such as a passport or something - amusing hear the cries) - but I suspect that is not in Hotcopper's interests. Since Hotcopper is a mass/mess of conflicting opinions, raving lunatics, abusers, misogynists and reasoned people and not actually a recognised source of balanced information it also seems a strange suggestion anyway.
As for outing people as a successful tactic I haven't noticed it working In fact I'd have said that the covid vaccine has created far more people expressing doubts about vaccination than ever before. Why you would think ridiculing people might work beats me - work how? Achieve what? it is one of the most ineffective methods of getting change in behaviour or mindset that I have ever seen - in any setting and in my view gets dangerously close - when used at social level to more oppressive societies. or maybe Asian societies which regularly engage in public shaming to gain compliance - is that what you are suggesting? surely not?
it is also a favoured technique of abusive people - accompanied often by outbursts of anger or spite when they don't get what they want. I wouldn't have put you in that category - or some others on this thread but for whatever reason this issue has bought out the worst in some.
