Leslie sold IMU shares to fund the exercise of options. She came up with malarky about not having $680K lying around and so this is why she had to sell the IMU shares, but this is BS. I suspect that a person of her wealth actually does have that sort of money lying around, but even if she didn't she could easily have borrowed the funds against her tens-of-millions worth of IMU shares. She's shrewd. If the IMU shares were really worth as much or more than they were trading at at the time (47c), she would have kept the shares and borrowed the money to exercise the well-in-the-money, expiring options. But since she knew they were over-valued, she took the opportunity to sell as many as she could under the "I'm only doing this to exercise my options" guise. Worked a treat with the HC fan club.

And yes, I was too stupid? greedy? to take the hint and sell at the time.

Boiled down, all they've trotted out are some positive, interim HER-Vaxx results that are nearly a year old. However, over the past EIGHT YEARS, HER-Vaxx has been administered to LESS THAN 20 PEOPLE on the planet. This exceedingly weak statistical basis is enough to give the cheer squad wet dreams, but big phama have taken a detailed look and decided there's nothing proven yet.

IMU *might* end up a successful biotech, but there is absolutely no guarantee. Just be aware that you are buying a lottery ticket in a lottery that's 10 years off its draw ...

And while I'm at it, two other things for you to consider:

1. Many posters on here bought under 10c, so they are probably just playing with winnings at the moment. Makes it easier for them to keep cheering.

2. Many HC posters (not just on the IMU boards) confuse making money on a stock with good management. Timing of entry, industry tailwinds, unjustified exuberance etc ... are all reasons that a SP might go up in spite of crap, self-centered management. Conversely, a stock can go down due to poor timing of entry, a pandemic, a drought etc .. in spite of excellent management. When the former happens, the "investor" will kiss the hand of the pickpocket, just like they are doing now with Hopper.
