For me, this mornings announcement was a bit of a wake up call. It went to show that more significant news can drop anytime and the price shoot up in a heartbeat. Although thankfully that didn’t happen today and allowed me to buy 50k on market at 0.29c.

I originally intended to apply for the full allocation in the limited SPP, but as we can’t be certain of getting the amount requested, I decided that waiting out the next couple of weeks was going to be too much of a gamble. Granted, I’ve potentially lost out on 25k free options, but this way I’m guaranteed obtaining the full amount of shares that I wanted. I would have kicked myself if the SPP was over subscribed and people only got a fraction of the number applied for. In the meantime the balance of our money would be tied up in the process awaiting refunds and unavailable to use in the market. As we know, IMU are expecting significant news towards the end of this month which could potentially put a rocket under the share price. I’d have hated not being able to take full advantage if that happened.
