s BPAY instant or does it take 3 days? I.e. should i put the money in on the 19th or could i do it at 4pm on the 21st?
It's not consistent. Some banks process it faster than others.
I would allow a minimum of overnight if placed early in the day (i.e. AM on the 20th). With such an apparently lucrative deal such as this going on current SP, I would give it an extra day at least. That also gives them time to contact you if there are issues and it allows you to contact your bank if you see the BPAY hasn't got processed for some reason. A couple of days lost interest on $15K is insignificant at current rates.
