Could very well be or could be just offered through a prime brokerage service. I don't really understand the mechanics of how a fund offers shares to short, who manages it in terms of % costs etc. I know short interest has dropped by 3 million. In the whole scheme of things still tiny numbers.
Anecdotal - The broker I use (INVAST) is a DMA CFD provider and had borrow available on NUH for the last 6 months, they don't any more. Not sure that relates to what we are talking about or whether they just bought stock themselves to loan out.
