This 'Market Forces' crowd acts against not just WHC's and its holders' interests, but also Australia's.
As the CEO of WHC says, it ought not be a binary argument as if WHC and other Australian producers are prohibited from producing or exporting, higher emitting thermal coal will be sourced by Asia from Indonesia or Russia. The net effect is global emissions rise.
It's not ideal to be churlish but if these wokist individuals believe their case is so good, why don't they book a one way ticket to mainland communist China and appear in the Great Hall of the People to discover what sort of a reception they'd receive.
