I don’t think it’s an either or question.
A superstar CEO has the advantage of a certain level of independence from our Acting CEO and could very easily turn the spotlight onto the founders and creators of this company and the technology in a very loud and public display that would not play well if it were the Acting CEO presenting the same accolades.
So in my opinion the timing does not matter all that matters is that the right person is appointed.
