I go away a couple of days you guys are all quiver re Atomo. My thinking
1) I think the margin on the antigen tests are so small, to be in the 'who cares' bucket; so the fact that Atomo has some clients is good and not others is 'I dont care'
2) It does seem to me the antibody tests will really fall away, so we will get a sugar hit this Q, but that is all
3) HIV is a real area we excel, and hopefully that will pick up to be a steady revenue stream from NOW
4) FebriDx is the big savior for Atomo, in my opinion, that will keep the lights very bright as soon as they get FDA approval, but it is already approved in a LOT of big markets; one only wonders how long the AT1 kit, will be 'the kit'; but I trust what FinFree said, re the FDA approvals are tough to get, so when you get one, it is sticky for a year or three or more
5) Now the q1 AccessBio Sugar Hit + HIV ongoing + FebriDx (medium term motza) will do us well for 1 to 2 years from now; the key is getting some other big partner with our new big manufacturing ability - and John was quite adamant they are in a good place to do that in the mid term
You know, if we have contracts with Olympics and Defence force, even if they are not material, they should be announced. I have been wrong a lot re the share price, but my 'new' guess is the share price will remain 23-24 until some announcement comes out, then it will bump up, then the next Q will come out with revenue sugar hits, then it will bump again. Sadly (for my style) it becomes a growth and hype company. I dont know whey they will turn a profit and become steady. That is the style I like. But if I profit from a bit of hype, I can accept that. But we are blown to and fro by the wind of media and govts. YUK.
