Yes it's estimated that the magic 80% vaccinated will be reached about Xmas time. That is one reason I am having my first dose this week. I want to have had my second dose before that 80% figure is reached, because when it is restrictions will be lifted and Covid will run free eventually infecting everyone. But as we are seeing in NSW only the unvaccinated will end up in ICU. For the rest of us it will be just like seasonal flu.
