Your comment about getting a significant fraction of the active compound AOD9604 to the required local site seems correct. The question I have is if it is as simple as rubbing on a cream then even David Kenley would have thought of it years ago. Furthermore, if the drug actually works when direct administered then there would have been a (smaller) market even through a course of injections applied in a doctor's surgery. Obesity is regarded as a problem. Nothing comprehensible as to why it was dropped was ever published. I can't help but retain some scepticism.
