sitting long in this market for over sold stocks is the best strategy imo, but imo historical correlations will lead to short term trading opportunities, without scribing a novel....the stocks that influence the all ords substantially are now over bought whereas the valads are still way over sold, however historically valads beta factor (correlation to the index) would indicate that a pull back on the majors should transcribe to a pull back on terms with the historical beta factors. My take on this is there are great opportunities for fundamental traders to take advantage of outdated historical relationships. In other words go long on any pull back
I'm in new york at the moment and everyone is talking up september as the boom job time, lets hope it transpires. And yeah all rent is high but unlikely to fall, though growth may stagnate the write downs in all property worldwide are Imo unjustified
